Reviews

Bear Creek Lake Park is a wonderful option for a casual wedding in Lakewood. The views of the nearby foothills and mountains are beautiful and there is plenty of space for an outdoor ceremony and a reception space for dinner and dancing in a sheltered picnic area. There are five different sheltered picnic areas that allow for the perfect size--from up to 250 guests down to 80. As a Colorado wedding photographer with 15 years of experience, I love the park's beautiful spaces for photo opportunities including forests, lakes and wide open meadows. In July, we even enjoy fields of wildflowers! It is a perfect, classic Colorado venue!" - Reviewed on 1/20/26 Jess, Jessica Schmitt Photography
